We design and produce our collections in Spain. We work with one of the best workshops in the country and we make very careful, pampered pieces with excellent quality.

We guarantee the quality that we certify with controls where our processes, and the jewelry itself, are audited by external partners to guarantee that no harmful and contaminating materials are used in manufacturing. Like all our silver and gold pieces, they comply with the precious metals regulations. For all these reasons, and by maintaining the piece properly, a Rocío Gago piece of jewelry can last a lifetime.

Taking care of them will help you keep them in perfect condition in a timeless way, maintaining their shine by following these tips:

- We do not recommend using them in the shower, pool or sea.

- They are delicate pieces and can be affected after continued use with liquids such as colognes, perfumes, creams or oils. Exposure to environments can also compromise the integrity of your jewelry, this also includes your own perspiration (sweat). We recommend removing any jewelry before participating in any physical activity or going to sleep.

- In case it has blackened over time, you can return the initial color:

To clean, soak your jewelry for a few minutes in warm soapy water. Make sure it is a pH neutral soap. Scrub them carefully with a soft toothbrush. Rinse gently with warm water and then dry with a soft cloth. You can also use the cloth* that is included as a gift occasionally following the instructions inside it.

- Check the closures frequently.

- Your jewelry should always be stored away from humid spaces such as a bathroom, and always away from any sun exposure. The ideal is a padded jewelry box or individual bags, or any container that does not cause accelerated tarnishing of the pieces. Please keep in mind that Rocío Gago boxes are not designed to keep items in perfect condition for long periods of time, since they are not airtight containers and color alteration may eventually appear with lack of use.

WARNING:

Many of our 925 Sterling Silver jewelry is coated with 18 kt Gold, this is done using a 3 or 5 micron Gold plating as indicated on the product sheet. The color of the finish depends on the gold alloy used: Yellow Gold or Rose Gold.

Sterling Silver has the same treatment as white gold jewelry. The rhodium coating adds shine and luminosity to the jewel, giving it a higher quality finish. At Rocio Gago we always rhodium-plated all our jewelry, except for some that are oxidized to achieve a certain look.

Even so, SMALL Rocio Gago does not guarantee that the gold plating of our models will last forever. Gold-plated pieces are more fragile and susceptible to losing color over time. The speed at which this color disappears depends on multiple factors such as the care of the piece, the use of chemical products on the skin, the level of body sweating or even the same PH level of each person's skin. For this reason, it is especially important to take proper care of your gold-plated jewelry.
